this is a 3 part series, but you do not need to enroll in all three classes. They are separate.
In this class you will:
- Time to shop - purchasing two fat quarters of your choice.
- Ironing/pressing and using starch.
- Practice: Making a square block and why its important.
- Making a 9 patch
- Cutting the strips
- Sub-cutting to make squares
- Sewing the squares into the larger block
- Squaring up your completed block.
Please bring basic sewing supplies with you, including:
Sewing machine in good working order with the manual
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Ruler, preferably 6 1/2" x 24"
Fine, sharp pins
Seam Ripper
All supplies, except the machine are available in the shop for sale.
Please bring drinks and snacks if you wish. We have a small refrigerator for your use.
